This page sets out the return and refund terms for orders placed on hk-handmade.com, a site operated by BHM EXPORT (SARL, Paris Trade and Companies Register 819 429 200, 82 rue Manin, 75019 Paris). This English version is provided for information only; in the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails. It supplements our terms and conditions of sale<\/a>, whose time limits and conditions it follows.<\/p>\n

Your right of withdrawal<\/h2>\n

In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, you have fourteen (14) days<\/strong> from receipt of your order to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason or pay any penalty<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Where an order includes several items delivered separately, the period runs from receipt of the last item.<\/p>\n

Condition of returned products<\/h2>\n

Products must be returned new, in their original condition and packaging<\/strong>. As our pieces are assembled one at a time, please handle them with the care you would give an item tried on in a shop.<\/p>\n

You may be held liable for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and proper functioning of the product.<\/p>\n

How to proceed<\/h2>\n
    \n
  1. Let us know.<\/strong> Write to contact@hk-handmade.com<\/a> stating your order number and the items concerned. You may use the model form reproduced below; its use is optional.<\/li>\n
  2. Wait for our instructions.<\/strong> We confirm the return address and the steps to follow by return email.<\/li>\n
  3. Send the parcel.<\/strong> You have fourteen days after informing us of your decision to send the products back. We recommend a tracked service: the parcel travels at your risk until it reaches us.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Return costs<\/h2>\n

    Return costs are at your expense<\/strong>, except where the product received is faulty, damaged or does not match your order. In that case, we cover the return and the exchange or refund in full.<\/p>\n

    Refund<\/h2>\n

    The refund is made within a maximum of fourteen (14) days<\/strong> after receipt of the returned product, or after proof of its dispatch if this reaches us sooner.<\/p>\n

    It is made using the same payment method<\/strong> as the one used for the order, unless you expressly agree to another method. The refund covers the price of the products and the standard delivery costs originally paid. If you chose a more expensive delivery method than the standard offer, the difference remains at your expense.<\/p>\n

    Faulty or non-conforming products<\/h2>\n

    Independently of the right of withdrawal, all our products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity<\/strong> (Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and from the guarantee against hidden defects<\/strong> (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). These guarantees apply at no cost to you and regardless of the withdrawal period.<\/p>\n

    If an item reaches you damaged or does not match your order, write to us at contact@hk-handmade.com<\/a>, with a photograph if possible. We arrange the return at our expense.<\/p>\n

    Variations that come with handmade<\/h2>\n

    Our pieces are assembled by hand, in small series or one at a time. Slight variations in shade, size or finish between two pieces are inherent to handwork: they are not a lack of conformity. We describe them as far as possible on each product page. This in no way limits your fourteen-day right of withdrawal.<\/p>\n

    If you wish, you may copy out and send us the form below. Its use is not mandatory: a simple email clearly stating your decision to withdraw is enough.<\/p>\n
