This page gathers what you need to know before ordering: where we deliver, at what cost, how long it takes and how your piece travels. For returns, please see the page Returns & Refunds<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Where we deliver<\/h2>\n

We deliver to mainland France, Belgium, Spain and Switzerland<\/strong>. We would rather serve a few countries well than promise the whole world and miss the date.<\/p>\n

We do not yet deliver to the United Kingdom: write to us at contact@hk-handmade.com<\/a>and we will let you know as soon as we do.<\/p>\n

Sent by tracked Colissimo. The complimentary delivery threshold applies to the total value of the pieces in your cart. Delivery costs are shown before payment, at checkout: nothing is added afterwards.<\/p>\n

Delivery times<\/h2>\n

The total time is made up of two stages, to be added together.<\/p>\n

Preparation.<\/strong> Our pieces are assembled and checked one by one before they leave. Most items are dispatched within 3 working days<\/strong> ; this time is stated on the page of the pieces concerned. A piece made on request takes longer: in that case, we will write to give you a date.<\/p>\n

Transit.<\/strong> Then allow 2 to 5 working days<\/strong> within France, and up to 7 working days<\/strong> to Belgium, Spain and Switzerland.<\/p>\n

Customs and taxes<\/h2>\n

Belgium and Spain<\/strong> : the price shown is the final price, with no customs charges.<\/p>\n

Switzerland<\/strong> : import duties and taxes are covered by the Maison. There is nothing to pay on delivery.<\/p>\n

Large pieces<\/h2>\n

Our resin clocks and side tables are delivered within mainland France only<\/strong>, because of their size and fragility.<\/p>\n

Orders placed at the weekend or on a public holiday are prepared on the next working day. At busy times, especially before the holidays, these times may extend by a few days; we will say so on the site.<\/p>\n

Tracking your order<\/h2>\n

You receive a confirmation email as soon as your order is placed, then a second one when it is marked as completed, at the time of dispatch. You can also check the status of your orders at any time from your customer account<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you have not heard from us once the stated times have passed, write to us at contact@hk-handmade.com<\/a> with your order number: we will look into it with the carrier and get back to you.<\/p>\n

On delivery<\/h2>\n

If the parcel is damaged<\/strong>, you can refuse delivery, or accept it while noting precise reservations with the carrier \u2014 \u201cparcel opened\u201d, \u201cpackaging torn\u201d, rather than a simple \u201csubject to inspection\u201d. Photograph the parcel before opening it and write to us straight away.<\/p>\n

If the piece you receive is damaged or does not match your order<\/strong>, we will take it back and replace or refund it at our expense<\/strong>. Write to us at contact@hk-handmade.com<\/a>, with a photograph if possible.<\/p>\n

If you are out<\/strong> when the carrier calls, they leave a notice and hold the parcel at a collection point, usually for two weeks. After that, the parcel comes back to us: we will contact you to arrange a new delivery.<\/p>\n

Variations that come with handmade<\/h2>\n

Our pieces are assembled by hand, in small series or one at a time. Slight differences in shade, size or finish from one piece to another are the signature of handwork, not a flaw. They in no way limit your fourteen-day right of withdrawal, set out on the page Returns & Refunds<\/a>.<\/p>\n
