Flower candles at the centre of a celebration table are a bouquet that will not wilt during the meal, and one you keep afterwards. Our flower candles are scented: they make the centrepiece, and they can be lit for the evening. Here is how to put them together for a wedding, a henna night, an engagement party or Christmas.
The rule: one centrepiece, two echoes
One statement piece in the centre, two smaller pieces at either end of the table, and varying heights. Pick up the colours of the tablecloth, the fresh flowers or the outfits: no more than two main shades, plus a hint of gold.
For a wedding
White, powder pink, a hint of gold: the rose ball candle trio in the centre, the cream rose in its bowl at each end. On a long table, repeat the arrangement every two metres. The small pieces can be given to the witnesses afterwards.
For a henna night
The warm tones of henna call for orange, coral and gold: the orange rose in a boat dish in the centre, the amber glass candle and the golden desert moon as accents. For a matching outfit, see what to wear to a henna night.
For an engagement party
Red and white, or fuchsia: a “Love” bouquet in the centre, red and white roses or fuchsia roses, and the caramel rose gift box open on the buffet. The bouquet then becomes a keepsake for the couple; see also giving a jewellery set for an engagement.

For Christmas
The chalet and its fir tree, the treehouse cottage and the log slice, set on a linen table runner with a little greenery: a small winter village. More ideas in small Christmas gifts under €30.
Candlelight and scent
Our flower candles can be lit and give off their scent. The dried flowers around them are flammable (see dried flower candle safety): keep the flame away from them, and place lit candles well away from tablecloths, napkins and anywhere people pass. Never leave a flame unattended during the meal.
Set the table the day before
Put the arrangements in place the day before: neither time nor an evening’s light will harm them. Keep them away from hot dishes and from where the waiting staff pass. After the party, dust them with a soft brush and wrap them in tissue paper for the next occasion.
All our candles. Delivery by Colissimo from €4.50, complimentary from €49; dispatched within 3 working days; 14 days to change your mind.
Frequently asked questions
How many pieces for a table of eight?
One statement piece in the centre and two smaller ones at either end are enough; on a long table, repeat the arrangement every two metres.
Can you give the candles to guests after the party?
Yes: the small pieces, such as the daisy in its pot or the glass candle, make lovely keepsakes.
