Wedding and North African occasion jewellery sets, assembled in Paris
An occasion set is the ensemble that finishes an outfit: the necklace, the earrings, often the bracelet, and sometimes the ceremony belt that defines the waist. In Maghrebi and Kabyle tradition, it is worn for weddings, henna nights, engagements or Yennayer, and it is handed down. Our sets take up that spirit in today’s materials: cultured pearls, gold-tone medallions, crystals, coloured enamel, semi-precious stones and stainless steel that does not tarnish. Each set is assembled by hand, one at a time, in our Paris atelier.
Our sets, by family
- Semi-precious stone sets (€69 to €79): jade, African jade, turquoise, rose quartz, brown or black jasper, and citrine- or amber-tone beads. Necklace and earrings, sometimes a bracelet. A clear colour and a natural glow, for a guest who wants a piece that gets noticed without shouting.
- Crystal sets (€69 to €79): golden emerald-cut crystal, green crystal, black and gold crystal, a crystal heart, a crystal centrepiece on a four-row beaded choker. They catch the light of the reception hall.
- Necklaces on their own (€65 to €99): a gold-tone bib with a large filigree pendant, a gold-tone torque with an arch or drop pendant, a choker with a rosette medallion, a cultured pearl and medallion necklace.
Traditional Kabyle jewellery or modern sets: which to choose?
Traditional Kabyle jewellery is made of enamelled silver and coral; it is worn with the Kabyle dress, and collected. Our sets do not replace it: they are a modern take on the occasion set, gold-tone and beaded, that works as well with a Kabyle-inspired velvet waistcoat as with an evening dress. If you are looking for a piece to wear more than once, for a wedding and then a celebration, this is where you will find it. For an antique silver piece, go to a specialist jeweller.
How to choose your set
Start with the colour of your outfit. On black, burgundy or midnight blue, beads and gold tones stand out; on white, ivory or champagne, coloured stones bring contrast. Then look at the neckline: a bib or a choker needs an open neckline, while a long necklace dresses up a high-necked dress. Finally, think about weight: our pieces are made to be worn all evening, and the drop earrings stay light.
Materials and care
We name the materials on every product page: cultured pearls, semi-precious stones (jade, turquoise, rose quartz, jasper), citrine- and amber-tone beads, crystals, gold-tone metal, stainless steel, enamel. Store your sets flat in their pouch, away from damp and perfume. A soft cloth is all they need; no water on pearls, beads or enamel. To understand the different gold finishes, read our guide to vermeil, gold-filled and gold-plated.
Prices, delivery, returns
Sets are priced from €69 to €119. Tracked Colissimo delivery from €4.50, complimentary from €49; most pieces are dispatched within 3 working days. You have 14 days to change your mind. For a specific date, write to us before you order. See also the embroidered waistcoat and bolero collection and the occasion clutches to complete the outfit.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly does a full set include?
The necklace and earrings at least; each product page says when the bracelet and the ceremony belt are included. Every element is photographed.
Are the sets suitable for a North African, Kabyle or Algerian wedding?
Yes, that’s what they’re made for first: beads, gold-tone medallions and stones echo the embroidery on waistcoats and caftans. They work for evening events too.
Can I give a set as a gift?
Yes, every piece leaves in a pouch with careful packaging. Our guide giving handmade jewellery helps you choose for the occasion.
